Fiberglass Tubing, Casing and Line Pipe
Corrosion free fiberglass tubing, casing and line pipe has found use in the petroleum, chemical, water, and environmental industries since the late 1960’s. Fiberglass’ ability to withstand a wide range of aggressive acids, caustics, and other agents destructive to steel, combined with its high strength capabilities have made it an irreplaceable component in the American industrial infrastructure. Fiberglass has widely replaced vastly more expensive exotic metals for use with the transport of industrial acids, caustics, and other dangerous and corrosive materials. Fiberglass has also become commonplace in many environmentally sensitive applications such as oilfield and water well applications.
AROMATIC AMINE CURED EPOXY RESIN SYSTEMS The aromatic amine cured system is universally acknowledged as providing the highest combination of strength and chemical resistance available in the market. Further, its long-term high temperature curing requirements produce the industry’s highest thermal stability, as well as, providing for a continuous operating temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
INTEGRAL JOINT CONNECTION DESIGN A one-piece threaded integral joint design ensures dependable leak free connections while simultaneously providing the highest tensile strength characteristics in the industry. The box connection is precision filament wound as a continuation of the body itself. The pin connection is precision machined into the opposite end of the same contiguous pipe body. Unlike other products which use coupling or glue on connectors, the threaded box and pin connectors are both integral parts of the pipe itself.
8 ROUND STANDARD API THREADS Integral joint connections are threaded with 8 RD Standard API threads, 8 RD EUE in the case of tubing and smaller size line pipe and 8 RD Casing Long in the case of casing and larger line pipe. Standard steel 8 RD connections make directly up to the fiberglass joints. All products can be disassembled and reused repeatedly without thread damage.
Line Pipe Sizes Available - 2" - 10" (450-3000 PSI) Tubing and Casing Sizes Available 1.1/2" - 16" (1000-3000 PSI)
